Leviathan Wake (Experimental)
A downloadable game for Windows
AVERAGE PLAYTIME:
- 5-10 MINUTES (depending on your speed)
------------------------------------------------------------
You’re a grounds keeper at a remote lighthouse. That’s all. Just you, your co-worker, a routine, and the endless grey sea.
Each day is routine: check the generators, monitor the tides. It’s peaceful—until it isn’t.
Strange sounds begin to creep through the wind. The sea starts behaving… wrong. Metal groans where no wind touches. The fog never clears. And beneath the black waves, something enormous begins to stir.
Leviathan Wake is a singleplayer, narrative-driven, lovecraft inspired, horror experience set on a remote stretch of coast. With no disaster to explain away the growing unease, and no one else to share your experience, your descent is slow, quiet... and inevitable.

Note from developer:
- If the game says it has a virus, that is not true, it has all been tested and there is no virus within the game files. This is an ongoing issue with some games.
- I ALSO want to say that this is my FIRST Unreal Engine project and it may be short. However, that was the main goal. It's a narrative experience, more of an experimental thing to see what I can do in this engine. Thank You for playing my game (if you did) and remember to rate it too so more folk and get eyes on this.

Excuse the belated upload!
I remember having quite good fun with this, and I liked the eerie atmosphere, the mist created this unknown feel.
It did take me a little time to find all the generators, but found them all!
There was a moment, where I think something was right behind me, but I didn't have enough time to see. But it still created a spooky feel.
Here is my gameplay of the demo!
I love the style and look of it and I can't wait to see the rest of the game! Your game is first up!
Good

What a wonderful and well laid out game. It's really a shame that there's an end to it. Would have loved to keep on going. 5 stars well deserved!
I didn’t run into any bugs, hiccups or other snags. Kudos to all involved and thanks for making this awesome game.Hey! Thanks for playing, I noticed you played the old demo, there is a new one that has a short level added and its been changed a little bit also! Maybe check it out and you'll find out something interesting maybe at the end? 👀 Great video! enjoyed watching it. Cheers again 💚
Great game HauntedRaptor! I enjoyed :)
For a short experience, it was exceptionally good, as a lover of lovecraftian novels myself I was delighted with this little "adventure", the sound design takes you away and it makes you live a unique experience.
If I may ask, what's the name of the music used in the menu section? It's an exquisite touch to this game!
I would to see a complete rendition of this game in the future, good luck with it.
5 out of 5
Hello! I honestly do not remember it was just sitting in my music folder lol I thought it had that Lovecraftian feel so I used it. I cannot say if this game will continue or not... but let's hope all goes well and a full rendition comes out in the near future. Thank you for playing 💚
If in the far future you will happen to find again that musical piece...make me know the title, pretty please
If I remember!
For being a short little demo, this was not bad! Especially for being your first Unreal Engine 4 project. This turned out amazing! Cannot wait to see what the full game will have in store. Made a video on it.
Remarkable design, eerie atmosphere and intriguing story - one of the best demos I've played this year!
Now, before the review, I should say that I really love the dev, their content and whatever they make is great. With all that said, I think, objectively this was a fantastic demo. The game has superb sound design, high immersion level and it is well optimized, which is rare for UE games. I can't wait for the full version to come out soon!
The collision system and some of the dialogue can be improved as well as the overall story, which can be expanded, but that's just nitpicking and nothing else.
Best of luck with this project mate!
Hello friend 💚 Great video!! Loved it... Really need to add something to turn around when the sounds happen... Not many people turn around but good video, I will MAYBE continue it. However for the objectives not changing once one is finished, is only cause idk how to do that, but I will try and figure it out IF I wanna continue this.
